ELL Civics Class Graduation

Join us to celebrate the ELL Civics Class's Graduation! This class has met once a week from September through June to learn English while learning about a variety of civics topics.  After all the hard work, we are ready to celebrate!  This celebration will be at the Northside Library.  Please RSVP to the Kenosha Literacy Council by Tuesday, June 21st.

Rummage Sale

KLC Rummage Sale

Summer in Kenosha means rummage sales and we are planning this year’s KLC Rummage Sale for Friday, June 10 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

100% of the proceeds from the sale will benefit the Kenosha Literacy Council, Inc. where adults learn to read, write and speak English.

KLC Volunteer Information Meeting

KLC Volunteer Infromation Meeting: Enthusiastic indiviuals are needed to tutor immigrants, refugees, and life-long Americans in reading, writing, and English.  With many different tutoring options available, you're sure to find one that fits your schedule! Being a tutor doesn't take much time, is easy to learn how to do, and is fun!

Laps for Literacy

Laps for Literacy: Join the Kenosha Literacy Council to promote literacy! All proceeds from the event will help the Kenosha Literacy Council continue their mission to teach reading, writing and speaking skills to adult learners in the Kenosha community.
